You'll ride the "Roads of the Champions" on this amazing TourPak/RacePak cycling journey set amidst the incredible French Alpes. Enjoy live race viewing of three dramatic stages including the Grand Columbier and the live mountain finish to La Toussuire! Highlights of this exclusive tour include cycling through the Savoire region, the picturesque Mauriene Nature Park plus multiple overnights in Valloire. Ride at your own pace over famous historic routes that include the Col de la Madeleine, Croix de Fer, and the L'Alpe D'Huez! You'll cycle from hotel to hotel with minimal van transfers associated with following the Tour de France from region to region. Feel the emotion of Armstrong, Hinault & LeMond fill your soul in this historic battleground of the world's greatest cyclists! Optional Paris sightseeing/race viewing package available.


Daily Itinerary


July 8th: Depart the USA for France.

July 9th: Arrive in Geneva. Airport pickup and deluxe hotel check-in. Our mechanics would be happy to help you unpack your bike for an afternoon warm-up spin along Lake Geneva and the local vineyards. Meet your fellow guests at tonight's "Welcome Meeting/Dinner Party".

July 10th: After breakfast, we'll start our journey with a ride past vibrant sunflower fields on our way through the Rhone River Valley to the lakeside town of Aix-les-Bains. Stroll the cobbled streets of 'Old Town' before dinner at a charming outdoor cafe.

July 11th: Today we'll ride past pristine Lac d'Bourget to ride on the official race route of today's Stage 10 at the ulta steep Col de la Columbier! Enjoy a well earned roadside picnic of fresh baguette, jambon and fruit as the colorful publicity caravan entertain you before the racers struggle past one by one as they redline to the top! Afterwards, we'll have a short transfer to Valloire. We'll enjoy two nights at a deluxe chalet in this charming ski resort village which is set in the shadows of the Galibier. Our group dinner tonight will include local Savoyard specialties and fine wine from the region.

July 12th: Today we'll challenge the little know Col du Mollard before witnessing the peloton expload at the race's mountaintop finish at La Toussuire. You'll view Evans, the Schlekes and Contador battling each other to the top of this decisive final climb!

July 13th: Wake up to the smell of homemade croissants before riding over the majestic Col du Galibier and then taking on the historic 21 switchback turns of L'Alpe D'Huez! (Optional viewing of the race Start in St. Jean de Maurienne available)

July 14th: Today's route is epic- following past TDF routes over the famous Col de la Croix de Fer/Glandon and then a final push over the mighty Col de la Madeleine! We'll overnight in the Olympic village of Albertville. After a dip in the pool we'll enjoy a delicious group dinner at the hotel's pizzeria.

July 15th: Our final ride takes us past ancient chateaux and local Savoie vineyards on your way to the picturesque lakeside village of Annecy- also know as "Venice of the Alpes"! After lunch, we'll van transfer back to our Geneva airport hotel. Our mechanics will assist you in packing your bike for your flight home tomorrow. You can also take our "Paris Option Pak" and take the high speed TGV train to Paris for an optional sightseeing trip in the "City of Light".
