Daily Itinerary

July 14th: Depart the USA for France.
July 15th: Arrive in Geneva. Airport pickup and deluxe hotel check-in. Our mechanics would be happy to help you unpack your bike or set-up your rental bike for an afternoon warm-up spin along Lake Geneva and the local vineyards. Meet your fellow guests at tonight's "Welcome Meeting/Dinner Party".
July 16th: After breakfast, we'll start our journey with a ride past vibrant sunflower fields on our way through the Rhone River Valley to the lakeside town of Aix-les-Bains. Stroll the cobbled streets of 'Old Town' before dinner at a charming outdoor cafe.
July 17th: After a short a.m. van transfer, we'll spin up the Val d'Maurienne before taking on the majestic Col du Galibier! After lunch at the pictuesque Col du Lautaret, a thrilling descent and final push to Les 2 Alpes! We'll enjoy three nights at a deluxe chalet in this charming ski resort village which is set in the shadows of a glacier. Our group dinner tonight will include local Savoyard specialties and fine wine from the region.
July 18th: Today you'll ride and witness a stage like never before in the history of "Le Tour"- watching the peloton struggle by not once but twice up the serpentine 21 switchbacks to the mountaintop finish at L'Alpe D'Huez. You'll view Evans, the Schlekes, Wiggins and Contador battling each other to the top of this decisive stage!
July 19th: Wake up to the smell of homemade croissants before riding the official race route of today's stage with viewing at the top of the Col du Glandon (you can even add the Coix de Fer if you're up to it!) Enjoy a well earned roadside picnic of fresh baguette, jambon and fruit as the colorful publicity caravan entertain you before the racers struggle past one by one as they redline to the top! If you over did it a bit yesterday, you can also choose a shorter ride that includes viewing the colorful Race Start in le Bourg-d'Oisans.
July 20th: Today's route is spectacular- following yesterday's TDF route over the famous Col du Glandon and then a final climb over the mighty Col de la Madeleine! We'll overnight in the Olympic village of Albertville. After a dip in the pool we'll enjoy a delicious group dinner at the hotel's pizzeria.
July 21st: Our final ride takes us past ancient chateaux and local Savoie vineyards on your way to the picturesque lakeside village of Annecy- also know as "Venice of the Alpes"! After lunch, we'll van transfer back to our Geneva airport hotel. Our mechanics will assist you in packing your bike for your flight home- or maybe you want to add on our "Sightsee Paris Option".
