Rates
All trip costs are per person (airfare not included) All schedules and information are subject to change in order to follow these special events and itineraries.

Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your trip, your deposit will be returned less a 50% cancellation fee if we are notified up to 90 days prior to trip departure date (e-mails are not accepted due to possible electronic glitches). If we are notified less than 90 days before departure, there is a full refund minus the deposit if we can fill your space. Trip cancellation insurance is available and is suggested as we make no exceptions with refunds. This optional policy refunds your Tour costs in full should you be unable to travel due to illness or family emergency.

Release of Liability
Because of the inherent risks involved with cycling and any type of travel, all participants are forewarned that they must read and sign a “Release of Liability” waiver, which will be provided in their confirmation packet. Because portions of our cycling routes include roads with little or no shoulder, you should be comfortable sharing the road with vehicular traffic. Breaking Away Bicycle Tours, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any tour. If a trip is cancelled all guest's deposits or payments will be returned in full with no further liability or obligations.

Reservations & Deposits
To reserve space, please submit the completed Reservation Form along with your deposit of $600. per person, per Tour (check or money orders- we accept credit cards for trip deposits only). The balance is due 90 days prior to trip departure. Reservations are non-transferable.

Arrival/Departure
Do not book any flights until you receive our confirmation packet with exact pickup/drop off airport locations and times concerning your reservation. European Trips: Because of the time change you will need to depart the USA on the first date of your trip in order to meet us in Europe on the correct arrival date. Example: Tour des Alpes/Tour de France participant books flight on July 16th and will arrive in Geneva on July 17th. Your return flights will get you back in the USA on the same date as your departure because of the reverse time change. (Most trips end in the late afternoon and because most flights depart Europe in the morning for the USA you will need to return home the next day). Please allow enough time for packing your bike and airport check-in. Please do not book any plane flights until you receive your "Confirmation Packet" pertaining to your specific reservation.

Accommodations
We offer deluxe Three and Four Star hotels depending on the trip (all with private bath and shower); all are chosen for their surroundings, locations and charm. Standard rooming is double occupancy. Single guest reservations will be assigned a similar roommate. Single room option is available.
